new and improved civic sense amongst delhiites in the metro is something i'm slowly getting used to- people offering their seats, no discrimination against anyone, people picking up things dropped by others- to return it.
the airconditioning inside the coaches is flawless. there are 12 foot high glass partitions in the cp subway station for god's sake- now this demands quite a lot of faith in the general public. escalators take you right up to exit... jeez man airports here dont have that! the finishing is apparently world class.
took the metro to cp to get some lunch. dropped in at nizam's. nuzzled into mumtaazi gosht korma with luqmi parantha and romaali rotis, later- malai kulfi, then washed it down with badaam sharbat... and gluttony is my sin.
found some serious gyan somewhere..rules are made by people who are either very good at what they do (domain experts) or by those who have no idea of what's going on. if you are good at what you do, you can break those rules. times change, time changes things and not everything holds relevance for too long.
all things and objects could well be looked upon as utility. associating happiness with objects only creates misery, because they may either get outdated or someone else may have better!! i dont want to own a ferrari but i'd love to it out for a spin; and return the keys.
