13 bucks. thats what it costs now to travel from home to connaught place in an air conditioned coach, in 35 minutes- waiting time included. a month back, the ideal mode of public transport for daily commuting would be a chartered bus that would cost Rs. 15; delhi's heat, humidity and chills thrown in. getting there would take at least an hour. add another 15 minutes to that during the monsoons since the roads come apart whenever it rains... but now, these things are history. awesome!
... and no jaywalkers.
