Hazarding Poetry V

i fantasize
dream a little
leverage upon the difference
between me and cattle

thoughts of money ages me
I am poorer in these thoughts
Is this money to be spent now or is it a brick for a bigger tomorrow
that's the thought I need to borrow

I know my wealth today
to ponder at the end of the day
where I am and where I am headed
in retrospect, it's been a long way
