Grasshoppers

Rafting buddies Arjun (in the pic) and Suchira Banerjee complete 4 years - together and since they launched Grasshoppers- a design and communication agency. The exhibition at Urban Pind on their anniv bash was on social issues- a break from the run of the mill stuff.
By the way, the exhibit in the background looks like it's mutilated but its part of a concept. Cheers guys!

asli don ko beat karna mushkil hi nahi, naamumkin hai

I will not say anything majorly negative about the movie since it was visibly a huge project for such a young director- shuttling around the world with the entire crew. Kudos! Technically yes things have taken a quantum leap but the movie totally lost its soul in the process.. same thing happened to Kante also. either the crew gets very conscious when they shoot abroad or what but everyone had a very plastic look on them. The song 'khaike paan banaras wala' rocked; the only lively part of the movie. It was good enough to be seen again. If that song couldn't be replaced in the new one like 'main hoon don' was, it means it rocked hard enough to come back 30 years later. Just a thought on the chemistry between the actors. Kareena would at times break her eye contact from shah rukh, the person the audience connects with. So if you want to be sexy and desirable, maintain eye contact with the protagonist . It makes a huge difference to your attraction quotient.
I just realised how good Abc and helen were back then. they still are.
