run baby run!

I need a window
so I can wake up to a mountainscape
not a sound but birds in the trees
go back to sleep... snoozzzzzzzzzz...
tea water boiling,
a half destroyed piano
the hall rings with every key you connect with
it's that silent
bathe and plonk on a bench in the morning sunlight
pancakes and tea
walk up the hill
down the hill
a cute little store that sells wine... and drawing sheets!

nothing is as precious as moments of irrelevance
those with no agenda
no purpose
if I am in the rat race now
its so I can earn that nothingness
so toss in 2 t shirts in a bag
drive away to devdar woods
so run babes
so you can walk through those woods again

you and your giant gulliver hands

i could run all day through this desert
of cell phones pretty women and pimped up cars
if i am promised a window
in the middle of all this nothing
so i can look through it
to see an illusion of you
amidst an oasis of your personal belongings
including me
lying there with my head in your lap
cup my face with your hands girl
(i know it could be as real as i imagine it)

night falls and i wouldn't know
coz that flicker in your eyes keeps me walking
i'm falling and i wouldnt know,
you are the strength that keeps me strung up
i'm walking on a bridge all broken
i still wouldn't know- stubborn oaf that i am
coz you got your giant gulliver hands under every step of mine

i'll know when you're gone
coz i am so nothing
and will reduce to that when you disappear
and then i wouldn't be able to claim that
i could run all day through this desert

you and your giant gulliver hands

i could run all day through this desert

nonsensical rhymes- I'll skip the jargon, this is for raavan

my head is stuck
in a small truck
please drive slowly the roads are sad
buda boom buda boom
buda boom buda boom
i gotto look good if i have to be bad

I'm missing my arms, legs and chest
decapitated, but i try my best
my pride is my mooch
kissi se bhi pooch
its the last bit of honor
before the slaughter
I see chaos on this road
and people saying 'check out that load'

buda boom buda boom
buda boom buda boom

ammo me up
prop me up
2 more crucified
on my either side
traffic jamming
people ramming
who wants to leave?!
I'm the toast of this eve

pyro brothers
sometimes others
light me up, light me up
buda boom buda boom
buda boom buda boom

fiction minus 1 (a prequel to fiction)

She stood there, waiting for me to leave. And there was this thought in my head brimming over to reach my mouth.
'Want to come along?'
I smiled a smile I know can knock the socks off any woman.
'Go away'.
It didn't work. Ouch.
The machine cranked in. I pretended to think about the engine sounds but one half of my mind was waiting for her to change her mind.
'Or you could...'
She was gone.

My body and mind synced with the thump of the beast. The sudden change in weather brought in the ocean breeze that blew in a radical change in my perception of the day. I needed to so badly free myself from something; that had turned me into someone I never wanted to be. If I can unshackle myself from that element, I can make a headstart somewhere. Why am I so dependent on an event to change my life? Why can't I just decide to do something and just go ahead and act on my plans?

I rocketed onto the highway with a heavy head. I was just beginning to enjoy the cool breeze when my phone rang. Had to pull over.
'Yup.'
'Needed a website designed and wanted to know if you could..'
I passed on the job to someone who did that much better than I did, tucked in the gadget and rode on.
The thing rang again. Hold... hold...
'Yup.'
'Dude, I need designers for...'
Hoping someone benefited from my reply, I blasted on. I could feel the raw end of the nerves in my head now.

Suddenly, I had an agenda. My eyes narrowed as I detoured towards the altitudes.

Wordpress it is!

I have moved to Wordpress. After much introspection and discussion on what Blogger and Wordpress are capable of, I figured a one-stop shop...
