cold afternoon

breathe baby
i'm this close to losing you
exhale
let yourself be a part of me
closer
trailing my fingers down the side of your arms
mouths collide
i'm open
you can destroy the last thread in me
breathe babe
crush me, i'm not the fighter today
losing you is killing me
breathe girl
all i have is this afternoon

flip

i'm a 'simple thinking' nut and nokia is out to kick some serious ass in the gadget race. Here's why. Even if you do buy an ipod, you will carry a cellphone, and once in a while, a digital camera. now with the n-series, which has a carl zeiss lense for the camera, a 4 gb music player and of course the bread and butter feature that lets you make calls, nokia has the edge in the functionality / ergonomics department.
now here's some wild thinking....
coming next is an ipod with a camera and they'll market that with the thought that you can give a song an 'image' with your own personal photos. in the sense that a song in your ipod called 'your song' or 'the reason' it can start with a pic of your ex/current. or nikon could launch their coolpix series with an mp3 player and they'll market that with god knows what. or both could turn up with a diabetes measure embedded... somewhere. probably if nokia did that they'd kick ass all over again... i think it would rule if they also added things like a compass and a temperature measure to confuse the hell out of you as to why you should use it.
then one fine day, you'll forget this goddamn gadget at home, go buy an ice cream, eat it like a kid and be the happiest person in the world.

consume till no end

Hazarding Poetry XI

phone buzzes at 11 am
just when the workload peaks with all the mayhem
'sir we're offering a loan sir and with your credit history...'
I'm looking for words to end this nicely
we have people falling for this every day
then finishing off their families and themselves coz they couldnt pay
calls from bank goons become their daily staple
after of course, spending like they own a stable
so watch it my friend
next time someone wants to lend
just remember where you come from
you may own things with great aplomb
but what you dont have you dont need right now
its good friends and family and moments above
cell phones, cars and a swaroski dove
but it may work for you- things ads associate with 'priceless'
though I get bored with all things lifeless

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a good one. If you're a Roald Dahl nut, don't miss. This is my 3rd Burton-Depp flick after Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow. Deep Roy as the oompa loompas was a jazz!

Wordpress it is!

I have moved to Wordpress. After much introspection and discussion on what Blogger and Wordpress are capable of, I figured a one-stop shop...
